Prague Proms 2024 International Music Festival Opening Night under the auspices of Eva Pavlová, wife of Czech president.
This year, the Czech National Symphony Orchestra has organised the 20th anniversary series of the Prague Proms festival. The first concert, Pop Divas, is scheduled to take place on the 21st of June, 2024 in the Smetana Hall of the Municipal House. The concert will feature a variety of hits by icons such as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin and Céline Dion. This event will be hosted by Eva Pavlová, the first lady of the Czech Republic.
The concert has been organised in conjunction with American choirmaster and conductor Jeremy Winston and the soloists of the Jeremy Winston Chorale International, who will be accompanied by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra. The pop pieces featured that evening will be sung by incredible vocalists Amanda Stollings, Nicole Beard and Candace Potts.
Furthermore, we are personally honoured that this opening night of the festival has welcomed a new patron, first lady of the Czech Republic, Eva Pavlová.
